Put on your walking shoes and join the Wildflower Center for an evening hike through the gardens and arboretum. See the beauty of the gardens by moonlight, listen to the coyotes howl, and catch a glimpse of an owl in flight. In addition, learn about the history of the Wildflower Center, its mission, and current programs. Participants are welcome to bring red light flashlights.

What part of prickly pear is edible? Can you eat a spiderwort flower? Discover the variety of native and naturalized plants that are edible on this special tour with guide Eric Knight. As you explore the gardens and natural areas, learn about which plants and plant parts are edible and find out how to know when they are ready to harvest along with tips on how to harvest. Finally, discover ways to incorporate native and naturalized plants into your everyday diet.

Refund Policy

You may cancel a registration up to two business days prior to the start of the class, workshop or camp. You will receive a full refund minus a $10.00 transaction fee. All cancellations must be submitted via email to the registrar.
